We are finally home as MR & MRS from our wedding trip to California.

It was so nice to be with our family and friends on the most important day our our lives. Everything turned out great, it is crazy how you spend months of planning and it goes by so fast. Here are some of our pictures from our big day.

Boarding Pass Invites

So I came across the cutest idea for Invitations a Board Pass Invite. I downloaded the template for them at www.AyleeBits.com It was so easy using the template and I am really happy with they way they turned out.

So we came across this project on Martha Stewarts website.

It was very easy and we think they turned out really cute.

we are going to use them as isle decorations.

The only difference is we will have a white runner and the rose petals will only be on the sides.

Getting Close

Well today is the 75 day mark!!
I am getting so excited; I can't wait for Erik and I to be married. I know it will be here before I know it! I will be in California this weekend for the bridal shower. There was a problem with the invitations and I hope everyone can still make it. I can’t wait to spend the day with all the wonderful ladies in my life!

D-Day

June 6th, 1944

Today is the 65th Anniversary of "D-Day" I would like to take this day to remember the brave troops who gave their lives to take a stand.

Army troop wade ashore on "Omaha" Beach during the "D-Day" landings, June 6, 1944. They were brought to the beach by a Coast Guard manned LCVP.

Okay, I think idea is way cute!! Instead of the traditional guest book option you could have a "wish tree".

I came across it on Here comes the guide. I always thought the traditional guest book was so boring. How many times do you think people pull out their guest book just to look at signatures. When you use a Wish tree you are able to put your "wishes" in a srapbook and/or photo ablum of your wedding guest celebrating your big day.

I'm not much of a cake eater due to the fact that I'm a lactoid. So I don't know what flavor Erik decided on; however, I think it is pretty cute.

Okay, I am offically in LOVE

At first I was a little doubtful.... but, I can't help it I'm lovin the paper lanters with lights. I think it adds a fun touch and will help with mood lighting. I pretty much bought out the dollar section lanter stock at Micheals :) I'm a baller on a budget lol.

Our Engagement

Erik and I had a weekend camping trip planned. Erik went early to "drop our stuff off" while I was at work. On the way to the camp ground he started telling me how the cabin door was cool to open. He went into detail about how it had a pull lever rather than a door knob. All I was thinking is that's cool; but, why is he telling me so much about the door. So we pull up to the cabin and Erik tells me that I should open the Door. So me being the smart-aleck that I am say, "oh, can I?" and laugh not realizing he just wanted me to walk in first.
